Complex hillside project located in the middle of the five-acre campus. While occupied, our crew demolished the existing building and constructed the 10,000 SF facility in its place. 聽The facility provides classrooms, a student social room, faculty and administrative offices, associated support spaces, and restrooms. Scope also covered extensive sitework, interior renovation to the existing Building F, and site development consisting of mass excavation of hillside with retaining walls as well as traditional site developments. Landscape improvements includes new hardscapes, decks, plantings, and irrigation. The project, designed by Jensen Architects, received the 2023 AIA CA Design for Well-Being Award and achieved net zero and exceeds the 2030 commitment threshold. Sustainability features include photovoltaic roof mount panels, high insulated building envelope, and high efficiency integrated energy features.
