New 44,200 SF two-story student center plus renovation, reconfiguration, and reconstruction of the student quad and front drop-off area. The new student center features a college-style cafeteria and kitchen equipped with several stove tops, exhaust hoods, refrigerators, and monitor screens to display menus. The facility also houses programming and physics labs, restrooms, an electrical room, a student lounge, and a staff lounge with warming kitchen. It opens out to an veranda that includes outdoor seating, sunshades, and an elevated amphitheater. Outdoor stairs provides access to the student quad from the second floor. Scope also covered demolition of existing cafeteria and kitchen building, a classroom building, and associated site-work. We worked closely with the school district to minimize disruptions and maximize student safety on the occupied campus.
