Upgrades and expansion to an existing water treatment plant that increased capacity from 14 MGD to 21 MGD. Scope covered modifications to the raw water pump station with a new feed pump and in-line jet mixing system, addition of new adsorption clarifiers for pretreatment, construction of deep bed sand filters with coupled new air scouring systems, expansion of solids handling facilities with new mechanical dewatering processes, addition of a new backwash water and high service pump stations, installation of a new chlorine gas scrubber, and a new treated water clearwell. We self-performed聽all cast in place concrete, underground piping, above ground piping, and installation of process equipment.
