New cast-in-place parking structure on a occupied college campus. Scope covered demolition and construction of a new five-level, 300,000 SF parking facility complete with 905 stalls, plus a pedestrian sidewalk and turnaround that connects the structure to the campus. The project contributes to the campus’ sustainability goals including net-zero energy consumption. Self-performed work included general layout, cleanup, safety, concrete foundations, embeds, and vertical concrete placement. Scope also included sitework and road improvements. A temporary asphalt roadway was built with applicable signage, k-rail, and safety considerations to provide easy navigation around the jobsite.
